Although still keen to go out on play… Simon and I headed over to Ribblehead. A short walk past the...

Thanks to all on the fall for a safe and fun experience.

It makes a change from being indoors.
This year we headed over to the Cairngorms and spent 4 hours creating our home for the night close to the summit.

Happy Birthday Liz.

At 11 we headed off into the dark to the summit and then back quickly to our sleeping bags where we saw in the New...

Today we had planned to go up to the Ben and do Tower ridge but with with the Avalanche risk high with high winds forecast a change of plan was made, it included more whiskey the night before and a slightly shorter day up Glen Nevis.
We scrambled up a lovely little gully followed by small icy steps to the summit and enjoyed a lark about on the return to the chip...

With the late start due to the drive we did not have enough time to summit so chose to refresh winter skills in the Coire and then head back for a slap up meal and...
