Kat was out today navigation training with a lad Tim from London. Tim is leading up to an event and wanted to top his skills up.
They headed to the area above Easedale and covered a number of skills on 3 varieties of maps before heading back to Grasmere for gingerbread then the train home.

After a great week with Ambleside and Lindale Primary Schools the Real Adventure staff and I headed over to the Atlantis Boulders on the side of Thirlmere for a spot of relaxing before heading back to the stores to sort the weeks Kit.The boulders are nearly all out of the water now with only one problem that is a shallow water solo!

This week Lindale School came to us for a residential course.
We stayed at St Andrews Bunk House in Coniston, Mark our chef cooked 2 great meals for the evenings we where there for with the help of Katrina.

This week we were working with Ambleside Primary School to deliver a program of adventures for everyone from Nursery and Reception through to Year 6.
All 152 young people did something with us during the week ranging from Mini to Big Ghyll Scrambling, Canoeing, Adventures into Lake District Mines, Tree Climbing, Rock Scrambling, Shelter Building and more.

Alex, Claudia, Helen, Graham and I headed up to Pavey for a day on the crag.
I did The Bracken Clock E2 5c and Capella E1 5b, 5b with Claudia and Alex whilst the other two did a VS then followed us up Capella.
