Classic Day on the Hill

A chance to explore the Lake District hills with our experienced Instructors. Walk at your pace and shorten or lengthen your day accordingly. We will take in some of the classic mountains like Helvellyn, Scafell Pike, Pillar and Bowfell as well as the more remote and less known areas of the Lakes.

Introduction To Navigation

Starting from scratch, our instructors will give you the basic skills to explore the mountains with confidence. The course will be mountain based and will include … map symbols, scales, grid references, contours, using a compass and much more so you will never get lost in the hills again!

Improve Your Navigation

For those who wish to develop their navigation skills, this course will cover all aspects of advanced navigation and will give you the confidence to find your way in any weather conditions day or night.
